4 Elements

At Pattie, every staff member and student is assigned an element - Earth, Fire, Air, or Water.

Each student has a “level up portfolio” where they keep their goals and any written reflections. Students earn points for meeting personal or instructional goals; demonstrating outstanding behaviors; or accomplishments that go above and beyond expectations.

While each student is working to compete against themselves (Me vs Me), each element operates as a team. As students earn points to level-up, they are also helping their element team to compete for first place.

We teach students that even though we are 4 separate elements we all still need to work together as a family. Together we are Pattie Strong!

Each week 4 students are selected to participate in a minute-to-win-it style challenge on the Morning show. The winner earns points for their element.

In June all points are all tallied from the entire year and everyone comes together to celebrate the winner for the year. The ultimate prize is the Trophy located in the trophy case and bragging rights for the next year!

Every Wednesday students are expected to wear their t-shirts for "Element Wednesday". Shirts are given to students at the beginning of the school year and are available for purchase. T-shirts are also available for families to purchase in out front office.
